First day of blogging...

I am new to blogging... let's give it a whirl... I thought maybe I'd keep this site to keep you updated on the Cormack Family happenings... we are most delighted to have added to our brood over the past week. Shonah Claire Cormack joined us on 12/23/08. She has made Mama, Daddy & Big Brother Ian very happy. Although she came just over 5 weeks early and she remains in the hospital for some extra care, she is growing and getting stronger each day. We await her homecoming. In the meantime, Mama has a little time to rest & get Shonah's clothes washed and put away. Everyone is anxious to meet her face to face and hold her cuddly body! As of now she needs to improve most her feeding ability... she needs to gain weight too. Maybe she'll be home in a few days or a week.

Ian had a wonderful Christmas. We celebrated after Mama came home from the hospital. We had Christmas Eve on the 26th and Christmas Day on the 27th. Santa brought all sorts of goodies for Ian and later in the afternoon his cousins joined him for a Cookies & Cupcake Christmas Party- it was just perfect!

It's snowing like mad outside! Fortunately Daddy is off today and tomorrow... but the roads are bad so we may or may not get out to visit Shonah. Hopefully later today.

Well, Mama is off to do more of Shonah's laundry and organizing her things for her homecoming.
